About the Event
'There’s a certain comfort that comes with knowing how you fit in the world. Anything that shakes up that comfort – even if it could potentially make your life better – is inherently scary’ Mark Manson
As individuals I think we can all relate to those moments in life where we have set out to make changes, be those changes we seek for ourselves, or those we have imposed on us by our situation. As Coaches & Mentors we are also companions for helping others make changes and develop new preferred behaviours.
The reality is that behavioural change takes time and it requires focused effort and determination to build in the new habits that help us reach and sustain the results and outcomes we’re working on.
In this session we’ll take time to explore this subject in the context of coaching & mentoring, why is it so tricky, and what might we need to be mindful of when we support Coachee/Mentees? We’ll look to share experiences and identify some useful tools and techniques that might help us support others through effective personal change.
