About the Event
Around 15 - 20% of the population is thought to be Neurodivergent, with the true figure likely higher as understanding develops on how a range of traits may impact and present differently in different people. Neurodiversity, whether we realise it or not, likely forms a part of many of our everyday interactions – whether we are Neurodivergent ourselves, working with those who are, or alongside people who may be yet unaware they are.
For Neurodivergent individuals, the impact can be wide-ranging and include differences in how they process information, regulate emotions, and respond to sensory input. These differences can influence overall well-being, stress management, relationships, and responses to change, decision-making, and external expectations. Many individuals struggle to fully leverage their strengths, as many workplace systems fail to implement inclusive practices..
